Hello everyone, I am so incredibly happy you’re here! My name is Anna Perry and I like to create art. I am 21 years old and from Independence, Kansas.

Growing up in small town Kansas and going to an even smaller Catholic school within the town, I always felt claustrophobic, trapped, and like I was too much. I felt like the world that I was born into was much too small for me, and therefore, I would shrink myself to fit in this little world. A world where something like athletics, how much money your family has, or how good you follow rules is rewarded and where real creativity, living and thinking outside the box is diminished.

After moving to Fayetteville, Arkansas and getting a better world view in college I have found that I never needed to shrink to myself or my boldness. That myself and my work has always been worthy and will be admired in the right spaces by the right people. Those who don’t understand just simply aren’t ready for it.

And that is what art is about. I want my pieces to speak and to resonate with the right people. I want you to keep them forever or pass down to your grandchildren to always keep real human creativity alive. It is what sets humanity apart from everything else and is how we are made in the image of God. God is within all of us, not just something outside of ourselves. I am here to help people see that, spreading energy of love, beauty, and creativity.
